Drip drop...

Bleak gentle raindrops have been falling since school ended today. For once, I kind of miss standing at the bus stop on a day like this; damped - not wet - in clothes that i've been in all week, the chilly feeling on my face - almost covered with my hands trying to grasp warmth from my short breath. Questioning every 5 seconds, "When's the bus coming?". Oh the yearn to crawl into bed after a long day at school.

It has been a week since I blogged, you can probably tell how busy i've been. I'm supposed to be writing an english essay but my nose is so clogged up with mucus, it's getting to my brain. Hence, I cannot work. Which is why I have found the perfect solution - blogging!

Right now.. I am craving for a nice hot vanilla chai tea latte - preferably from Gloria Jean's! Note to self: stop by for one after school tomorrow :) Sooo good... too bad Kyra can't stand the mixed aroma of exotic spices in which he summarises as 'ginger' haha, there's always GJ's fanatic Viktor Wong to turn to :P

Today's blog has no significant purpose, but hopefully I'll be able to find one soon.

How long?

Hello blog...I am f***ing tired. School is draining. I'll admit, I'm working hard..but not hard enough. If I was, i'd be satisfied with my efforts...why aren't I? I'm already exhausted..how long can I keep this up? Days stretch long, the nights immediately greet dawn (Oh, school in 7 hours! I'm so excited)...and it just repeats.
This week at school has been non-stop. Lunch breaks dedicated to make-up classes, meetings, trainings then afterschool is dedicated to further studies and homework. How do others cope? I need a social life ffs. I know everyone's saying, just 3-4 months left, you can do it. I've hardly spoken to anyone this week, I am slowly and painfully being dislocated from the social side of life! And once the chaotic week has ended - Oh! I have work, how lovely. I'm awaiting to spend some time with kyra on saturday... so we shall see how le mood goes after that. Goodnight.

Tick Tock...

I'm not joking when I thought 10 minutes have passed when only 60 seconds have gone by!
Viktor and Amy have gone to tutor.. (don't ask me why i'm not with them) and my other friends are all busy! Not to mention waiting for the boyfriend to come home from his weekend getaway! My hourly countdown has totally backfired :( Please don't tell me it's about to rain, it is cold enough as it is. Back to school in a week - I don't want to go back to school!! Homework? What homework!? Useless Mondays...

Ahh!! Help!!

It's a Sunday night, where is everyone?
Here I am, all alone, sitting in bed writing this blog aimlessly whilst reading issue 30 of
Frankie - Thank god I managed to make it in time for the 12.03 train today or else I wouldn't have had time to pop by the newsagency to buy it. Otherwise, I would have suffered from all this boredom!!

So today I went to meet Viktor at work. But since I came before he finished his shift, I sat down by the windowside with a half strength skinny caramelatte and my Frankie - the perfect remedy on a cold winter Sunday :) (see above)
Afterwards, Viktor and I ran along for a biffle date at QV foodcourts! The usual fun.

I discovered many genuine items and promotional giveaways in this month's Frankie, I suggest that you take a look at it! One of the things that caught my attention was the uniting creative forces of TMOD jewellery and Andy Uprock, to produce 'Poetry in braille'. Might I add, they are very expensive, however for every item sold, a percentage of profits are donated to Vision Australia.

In the circular solitude of my heart

If i ever feel better, remind me to spend some good time with you

Formed in 1999, the French indie-alternative-rock band Phoenix started in the same culture that produced the late-90's band such as Air and Daft Punk. In my eyes, I consider them the revolution of the Beetles and Jet put together to form one cool ass band :) These guys totally give your mood an uplift - guaranteed. If they're coming around your area, i recommend you to check them out! It will be worth it. Unfortunately there is only one show in Melbourne on August 3rd :( Bad luck...

Anyway, here are a few tracks that you could check out on Youtube (or download...shh) or buy their album!
From the album United, 2000: Too Young and If I Ever Feel Better (featured in the show, Entourage) and from the album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, 2009: 1901 and Lisztomania (you are actually listening to right now!).
You can easily contrast from the two albums, how much they've grown as a band and through their evolving music.
